Job Description
We have a Security Officer position open for a ladies salon in a mall. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of clients, shoppers, employees, and the property itself.
Responsibilities
Here’s an overview of what the job typically entails:
- Patrolling the Premises: Ensuring a safe environment for everyone.
- Responding to Incidents: Quickly addressing any disturbances and greeting clients.
- Access Control: Monitoring entrances and exits to prevent unauthorized access and ensure that security protocols are followed.
- Customer Assistance: Helping clients with directions, lost items, or any concerns they may have, promoting a positive shopping experience.
- Reporting: Documenting incidents, writing reports, and communicating with local law enforcement when necessary.
- Emergency Preparedness: Being trained in emergency response procedures, including evacuation plans, fire safety, and first aid.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a security role.
- Good English communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse groups of people.
- Excellent observational skills and attention to detail to identify security risks and ensure a safe environment.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations and make sound decisions quickly.
- Strong knowledge of security operations and procedures, including emergency response protocols.
- High level of integrity and professionalism, with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards.
- Security training or certification is a plus.
- Proficient in using security technology and equipment, including surveillance systems and access control systems.
Work Location: West Riffa
Working Hours: 9am to 5pm
