Job Description
Fire safety technicians work to prevent fires. Typical services they perform include conducting safety inspections and planning fire protection systems. In the course of their job, fire safety technicians recognize fire hazards, apply technical knowledge, and perform services to control and prevent fires.
Responsibilities
- Install, Perform Commissioning, Trouble Shooting activities of equipment’s in accordance with detailed instructions and work orders.
- Assist engineers and supervisors on a field level basis to complete the project specific works pertinent to the scope.
- Visit projects and undertake the assigned task for the project and maintain record of the work and report the status of works to the superior as required on time.
- Analyse the work and coordinate the activities with the relevant team in coordination with the superior based on the nature of project and priority of tasks.
- Perform scheduled maintenance on customer installations to ensure that equipment continues to perform reliably.
- Reporting to at the project location, performing troubleshooting and fixing the issue and reports as designated by the superiors.
- Develop knowledge of the organization’s products and services by working closely with a more experienced technician or as the junior member of a team
