Job Description
- Diploma or equivalent education.
- Minimum 3 years of work experience in handling and basic diagnostics of port equipment, mobile plant, CAN-bus, Scania; with particular emphasis on top-loaders, side lifters, forklifts and diesel engines, maintenance, fault diagnosis & repair
- Must have SCANIA heavy vehicle and equipment diagnose & repairing experience.
- Must worked with SCANIA authorized dealer or OEMs.
- Good Knowledge of machines and tools.
Responsibilities
- Repairs and maintains all terminal machines and equipment.
- Performs preventative maintenance and calibration of machines.
- Identifies and resolves equipment malfunctions, working with manufacturers and field representatives as necessary to procure replacement parts.
- Provides user applications and engineering support and recommendations for new and existing crane with regards to installation, upgrades, and enhancement.
- Responsible for the efficient and safe methods of work in the port and around workshops.
- Provides servicing and repairing port ship to shore cranes, Rubber tyres gantry cranes and rail mounted gantry cranes and associated equipment.
