Welding QC Inspector
Job Description
Welding Inspectors employ their extensive knowledge of welding processes, test methods, discontinuities, materials, qualifications, and standards to ensure that weldments and welding-related activities comply with all applicable quality and safety criteria.
Responsibilities
- Review of project technical specifications, drawings, and BOQ to identify and determine quality and engineering criteria for materials, workmanship and testing requirements related to welding works.
- Performs verification inspection of work elements related to civil works, to assure compliance with established procedures and Project’s specified requirements.
- Participates in on site receiving Inspection of welding materials.
- Prepare, review of welding specification, mix design and ITPs.
