Job Description
The position holder is responsible for Fabrication and installation of metal works, Cutting/welding works for building assets, plant equipment’s. Repair metal structural works, tools, and equipment’s.
Responsibilities
Key accountability • Operate manual and semi-automatic welding equipment in vertical, horizontal, or overhead positions, cutting, and permanently joining metal parts together through the application of appropriate welding techniques to achieve the requested work order with quality and set timeline. • Hand-welding and flame-cutting equipment such as oxyacetylene torch, electric arc machine, and robotic welding cells. • Conducting assessments to determine appropriate welding methods and equipment. • Read & understand the blueprints and drawings to identify welding measurements and position. • Repair structures by dismantling, reshaping, and reassembling metal components using cutting torches and hand tools. • Follow and enforce strict safety regulations such as wearing heat-resistant gloves, protective masks, and safety shoes. • Handle metal materials such as steel, iron and titanium, as well as composite materials such as plastics. • Compliance with the attendance policy.
