Hiring for Web Security and Monitoring Specialist
Responsibilities
- Investor Approval and Verification: Review and approve new investor registrations and token purchases.
- SSL Certificate Monitoring: Ensure SSL certificates are up-to-date and functioning correctly.
- Web Security Scanning: Regularly perform security scans to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities.
- Traffic Monitoring: Monitor website traffic to detect unusual patterns that might indicate security breaches.
- Error Monitoring: Track and resolve website errors to maintain a seamless user experience.Incident Response: Respond to and manage security incidents and breaches.
- Reporting: Prepare and present regular security and performance reports to stakeholders.
Skills:
- Web Security Knowledge: Understanding of web security principles and best practices.
- Cryptography: Knowledge of cryptographic protocols used in securing web applications.
- Network Security: Understanding of network protocols, firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection
Systems:
- Tools Proficiency: Familiarity with security tools like SSL Labs, Qualys, Nessus, and monitoring tools like Google Analytics, New Relic.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and fix security issues.
- Communication: Excellent communication skills for reporting and collaboration.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Experience: At least 2-3 years of experience in web security and monitoring roles.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security
- Professional (CISSP), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), or CompTIA Security+.
