- Manage budgeting and financial forecasting for waste management projects, ensuring cost-effective solutions.
- Train and supervise staff on best practices in waste management and safety protocols.
- Monitor and report on waste management metrics and key performance indicators to upper management.
- Stay updated on industry trends and technologies to drive innovation in waste management practices.
- Negotiate contracts with waste disposal vendors and service providers to secure favorable terms.
- Lead emergency response initiatives for hazardous waste incidents, ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Desired Candidate Profile
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in waste management or environmental services.
- Certification in waste management or environmental sustainability is highly desirable.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple projects simultaneously without compromising quality.
- Fluency in English; additional language proficiency is a plus, especially in multi-lingual communities.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders.
- Experience working with local regulations and compliance requirements within the waste industry.
