Educational Qualification

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.

Skills Required

• Essential:
• Warehouse Operations Management, Inventory Control, Team Leadership, Safety and Compliance, Process Improvement, Reporting & Analysis, Vendor and Supplier Relations.
• Strong interpersonal, communication skills, and English business competencies.
• Desirable:
• Awareness of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).

Experience & Certifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse management, logistics, or a related field.

Main Role

• Manage all warehouse operations, ensuring efficient, safe, and policy-compliant activities in receiving, storage, inventory, and distribution.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and shipping products.
• Optimize warehouse space utilization, equipment maintenance, and safety compliance.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct regular cycle counts, and manage stock discrepancies.
• Lead, train, and supervise warehouse staff, setting clear performance goals.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and perform regular safety training.
• Collaborate with departments (e.g., purchasing, sales) to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency.
• Prepare reports on warehouse performance metrics and identify improvement areas.
• Lead and/or support Supply Chain OKRs as needed.

Health and Safety Responsibilities

• Adhere to Raqtan's Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment policy.
• Use proper PPE, follow safe work practices, and report unsafe acts/incidents.
• Participate in occupational health and safety training and emergency procedures.

Performance Goals

• Inventory Accuracy: Improve to 99% within 6 months.
• Productivity: Increase warehouse productivity by 20% in 3 months.
• Space Utilization: Achieve a 15% increase in storage space within 6 months.
• Cost Efficiency: Reduce warehouse costs by 10% within 6 months.
• On-Time Shipping: Reach a 99% on-time shipping rate within 6 months.

Authorities

• Operational
• Manage day-to-day warehouse operations, implement SOPs, and conduct inventory audits.
• Staff Management
• Supervise, train, and schedule warehouse staff; recommend hiring/terminating personnel.
• Budget & Cost Control
• Approve warehouse expenditures, negotiate with vendors, and monitor financial performance.
• Vendor & Supplier Management
• Coordinate with vendors, negotiate contracts, and manage service agreements.
• Health & Safety
• Enforce safety standards, conduct safety training, and perform regular audits.
• Process Improvement
• Identify and implement operational improvements, introduce relevant technologies.
• Shipping & Logistics
• Approve shipping plans, resolve shipment issues, and coordinate with logistics providers.
• Reporting & Decision Making
• Prepare performance reports, make operational decisions to meet company objectives.
• Equipment & Maintenance
• Procure warehouse equipment, oversee maintenance, and ensure safety compliance.
• Collaboration
• Coordinate with sales and procurement, and recommend improvements impacting other departments.
