Responsibilities
Responsibilities: - Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression. - Take accurate food and beverage orders from guests and provide recommendations as needed. - Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring presentation and quality meet our standards. - Maintain knowledge of the menu, including daily specials and dietary restrictions, to assist guests in making informed decisions. - Check in with guests throughout their meal to ensure satisfaction and address any issues or special requests promptly. - Process payments accurately and efficiently, handling cash and credit transactions with care. - Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure timely service and effective communication. - Adhere to hygiene and safety regulations, maintaining cleanliness in the dining area and ensuring a safe environment for guests and staff. - Assist in setting up and clearing tables, preparing dining areas for the next service. - Participate in ongoing training to improve service skills and product knowledge, staying updated on industry trends.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a waiter or in a similar customer service role in the hospitality or FMCG industry. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with guests and team members. - Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality service. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. - Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. - Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations, with a focus on maintaining a clean work environment. - Positive attitude, professionalism, and a team-oriented mindset. - High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in hospitality or a related field is a plus.
