Job Description
As a VME Professional within Valuation Modelling and Economics team, you are likely to spend your day-to-day working on commercial issues, working with management on parts of the acquisition process or transformation plans and regularly undertake valuations for strategic priorities.
Responsibilities
- You will be part of the preparation of business proposals, presenting our various real estate corporate finance activities to new potential clients to develop new business opportunities and at the same time enabling you to create your own business network in the real estate sector.
- You will conduct feasibility studies and assess land value / property value and advise clients in their investment decision. You will develop complex real estate financial models, enabling you to assess the market value of various asset classes and create business plans for various asset classes including residential, hospitality, retail and commercial real estate, among others.
- You will perform purchase price allocations and valuation for real estate businesses in MENA. Real estate accounting skills are required.
- You will help us to monitor various real estate markets across MENA and asset classes such as offices, residential units, shopping centers, healthcare facilities, among others.
- To qualify for the role you must have A bachelor's/Masters degree in finance, economics, accounting or business with at least 6-8 years of related real estate corporate finance work experience Solution driven individual and “out-of-comfort” zone thinker with demonstrated record of solving complex problems and completing challenging projects Autonomous with demonstrated experience in handling and developing clients’ relationship, proactive in reporting to Director/Partner Financial modelling skills including experience building models from scratch idellay with Real Estate Experience. Broad understanding of IFRS standards related to fair value measurements, business combination, impairment testing etc.
