Job Description

As a QC Unit Head, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality control of our products and processes in our facility located in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of quality and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Review, analyze, and approve all quality inspection reports to ensure that products are meeting preset specifications.
  • Review Product Data Cards and Production sheets of new/all products and upon changes for costing purposes, being a guideline for Production, Planning, and QC teams.
  • Evaluate/recommend corrective actions (if needed) during the trial process of new/improved grades of RM / ORM from new/existing suppliers to ensure that production process/product specifications are either better or similar to current standards.
  • Evaluate, and train Quality Control Team members to increase their level of know/how and the best handling of quality issues.
  • Support the Divisional QC Manager in the maintenance and calibration of product-related measuring equipment to ensure accurate measurements and readings.
  • Support and recommend to the Divisional QC Manager any updating, improving, and maintaining the QC documents, procedures, work instructions, reports & standard action/rejection limits.
  • Participate and provide input in the process of development of new products, cost reduction, waste reduction, automation, and effective manufacturing process.
  • Evaluate, recommend, implement, and follow up on corrective / preventive action plans related to nonconformities (RM/FG) and customer complaints to ensure best quality for maximum customer satisfaction.
  • Evaluate and follow up on corrective and preventive action plans related to all nonconformities and customer complaints to ensure highest level of customer satisfaction & participate in or provide input in the process of products development, cost reduction, waste reduction, automation, and effective manufacturing process.
  • Responsible for complying with integrated management system requirements
  • Responsible with alignment with HSSE team for updating the HIRA and to ensure hazard & risk are adequately identified and documented
  • Responsible with alignment with HSSE team for updating the aspect/impact and to ensure all the aspect/impact are adequately identified and documented
  • Consultation and participation at all applicable levels and functions ( ex. the development, planning, implementation, performance evaluation and actions for improvement of the OH&S management system).
