Responsibilities
- Candidate can be able to perform inspection, repair and Bench check of Radio altimeter, Artificial horizon, other avionics instrument related components (VHF Antenna, transponder, NAV associated wirings, Landing gear Lights and switches etc) at shop level.
- Configures, maintains and operates test equipment / ground support equipment including Hobert’s and generators including other Aviation related electrical instruments.
- Troubleshoot, inspect, repair, perform and document routine and unscheduled maintenance on components per appropriate manuals and regulations as required.
- Candidate can able to interpret circuit diagrams, able to manufacture associate plugs and wirings.
- Ensure that all work practices are carried out in accordance with the organization’s maintenance organization exposition (MOE) to ensure the required standards of Quality and Health and Safety are maintained. This includes:
- Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with the correct revision Component Maintenance Manual (CMM) and company procedures.
- Ensure that any quality concerns affecting airworthiness or Health and Safety are reported immediately.
- Maintain ‘Reliability’ and meet customer expectations and the company targets. This includes, working within the team to ensure the correct Work Orders are prioritized and target TATs are met.
