Job Requirements and Qualifications
- Associate degree in biomedical engineering, electrical engineering, electronics, medical equipment technology, or a similar field
- 3+ years of experience working as a Biomedical Technician
- Skilled proficiency in the use of tools and test equipment
- Ability to interpret technical data like electronic circuit diagrams, schematics, and blueprints
- Ability to solve technical and performance problems using information from a variety of sources
- Working knowledge of technical requirements, codes, and standards associated with the field
- Knowledge of medical equipment, including maintenance and repair
- Excellent customer service skills
- Able to work independently and as part of a team

Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Install new equipment by establishing, adjusting, calibrating, and testing performance.
- Perform scheduled maintenance inspections and performance assurance inspections on equipment to ensure safe and effective operating conditions
- Test and calibrate components using a variety of manuals, troubleshooting techniques, and code requirements
- Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock, anticipating needs, placing and expediting orders, and verifying receipt.
- Prepares biomedical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
- Maintain records of all maintenance and repairs
- Diagnose equipment malfunctions with accuracy and precision
- Ensure documentation is complete, timely, and accurate
