Supply Chain Specialist – Confidential Company
Responsibilities
- Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels to optimize stock levels while ensuring product availability.
- Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and assess supplier performance.
- Logistics Coordination: Oversee logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution, to meet customer demands.
- Demand Planning: Collaborate with sales and production teams to develop accurate demand forecasts and ensure adequate stock levels.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance the efficiency of the supply chain.
- Risk Management: Proactively identify and mitigate supply chain risks to ensure continuous and smooth operations.
Desired Candidate Profile
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Supply Chain Specialist or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain processes, logistics, and inventory management.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in relevant supply chain software and tools.
