Job Description

In this role, they are responsible for overseeing various aspects of the supply chain, such as inventory management, order processing, and coordination between different stakeholders, including suppliers, manufacturers, and distribution centers.

Responsibilities
  • Provide logistic support and fulfill logistics related duties as instructed by the Supply Chain Manager.
  • Monitor customs clearance process, communicate with freight forwarders and custom brokers to resolve any issues, and assist with any shipment delays. 
  • Track status of shipments and manage the necessary documentation to ensure smooth logistics and adherence to business KPIs.
  • Coordinate with nominated freight forwarder for smooth handling of inbound shipment to and inform store/production team in advance of the arrival of shipment to our facility.
  • Coordinate with store team arrival/movement of materials & customer parts to perform proper receiving activities as per procedures.
  • Support Stores by verifying the received Trading Items to match our purchase order.
  • Act as a focal point for stock taking and inventory with the support of warehouse personnel & submit report to the Supply Chain Manager.
  • Prepare purchase requests for workshop-related consumables and maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Prepare necessary documentation for both imports and exports.
  • Prepare reports for received shipments of Trading Items.
  • Label the trading shipments and ensure they are placed in the correct racking locations.
  • Utilize logistics platforms such as DP World and Dubai Trade for document processing and compliance. 
  • Track and monitor shipments, providing regular updates to clients and the internal team. 
  • Resolve any issues or delays in the logistics process promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records of all logistics activities and documentation.
  • Stay updated with industry regulations and best practices in logistics and customs procedures.
  • Prepare JAFZA gate passes for Suppliers & Materials. 
  • Proper filing of BOE copy and related inbound shipment documents.
  • Prepare outbound shipping documents (Delivery note, invoice etc.). 
  • Accomplish all legal, international customer-based documentations & ensure all the management system is compliance with IER process and procedures. 
  • Communicate with vendors and follow-up/expedite delivery on a regular basis till we receive the order with required quality documentations & monitor on-time delivery. 
  • Provide reports & updates to all concerned stakeholders in a timely manner, accountable for all coordination & achievement of milestones.
