Structural Analysis & Design: Perform structural analysis and design steel and/or transportation structures for new constructions and rehabilitation projects. - Technical Documentation: Prepare technical/design reports, calculation packages, construction drawings, and specifications. - Client Interaction: Attend design meetings and site inspections, collaborating with clients, sub consultants, and partners as needed. - Team Collaboration: Work closely with in-house drafters and other engineers to ensure the accuracy and quality of designs. - Contract Documents: Design various structures including buildings, retaining walls, foundations, and wastewater treatment plants, and produce corresponding contract documents. - Quality Assurance: Oversee the verification process of designs, ensure the quality of work, and monitor design and construction progress. - Input Study & Design Calculations: Study project inputs and prepare and verify design calculations to ensure compliance with project specifications. Requirements- Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a Structural Engineer in a fabrication environment. - Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an ABET-accredited program; Master's Degree in Structural Engineering preferred. - Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, RAM Structural System, Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Risa 2D, Risa 3D, SAP 2000 preferred; knowledge of ETABS is an advantage. - At least 3 years of design experience with knowledge in fabrication and erection activities. - Strong verbal and written communication skills, the ability to work under pressure, and a positive, ‘can-do' attitude. - Maintain professional integrity, recognize personal limitations, and commit to continuous learning and scrupulous work. - Structural Engineering (S.E.) license preferred - Experience in structural analysis and design of structural projects is highly desirable.
