Receive and organize merchandise by department, properly indicate location in facility, and deliver merchandise to appropriate department. Stack received merchandise on pallets or carts. Complete requisition forms for stock and supplies. Notify manager or supervisor in a timely manner of low stock levels. Receive deliveries, properly stock perishable items, and rotate stock. Inspect deliveries and dates for freshness, cleanliness, solidity, and quality of all case lots. Reject damaged, unacceptable, or incorrect items. Follow food safety guidelines and handling policies and procedures for all food-related areas. Organize, clean, and sanitize all refrigerators, freezers, floors, food equipment, and drains. Remove empty pallets, cartons, and waste and place in appropriate storage areas. Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions to manager; complete safety training and obtain safety certifications. Comply with all company policies and procedures, ensure uniform and personal appearance are neat and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company property. Speak to guests and colleagues using clear, appropriate, and professional language. Cultivate and maintain positive working relationships with others; support team in achieving common goals. Adhere to quality assurance expectations and standards. Reach, bend, twist, crawl, and stoop; grasp, turn, and manipulate objects; ascend and descend regular stairs and/or service ramps; move, lift, or carry objects weighing 50 pounds or less; stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time. DESIRABLE SKILLS
Education: High school diploma or equivalent certificate from a General Education Development program
(General Educational Development, GED).
