Stockyard Controller – Ebrahim Khalil Kanoo Group

Responsibilities
We are looking for Stockyard Controller • Managing stockyard vehicles by implementing long storage process procedures and supervising the safe transfer of vehicles. • Performing quality checks and scanning routines for incoming and outbound vehicles • Maintain vehicles’ safe transfer, parking and ensure the arrangement in a proper position • Ensuring that all required storage procedures are followed and supervised • Handling load planning and reviewing invoices • Coordinating and liaising with internal and external parties as and when required • Provide all the necessary progress reports on a regular and required basis • Ensure all quality standards, processes, procedures and policies are met at all times • Responsible to follow and implement relevant requirements of Environment, Health, Safety & Quality manual • All other job-related duties, as assigned
Desired Candidate Profile
  • 1 - 3 Years of experience and / or a combination of experience and education.
  • High School or Secondary school certificate

a) Responsible for managing all stockyards within the purview of franchisee (Toyota/ Motorcity) and accountable for smooth movements of vehicles/ transport to various destinations as requested by PDI/ Sales/ Marketing. b) Responsible for stock accuracy at all times and in line with Oracle reports. c) Work load planning based on arrivals and ensures adequate staffing at the respective stockyards. d) Will lead a team of team leaders for smooth functioning of the stockyards. e) Also will ensure safety and upkeep of the stockyards. f) Will compile daily reports to be sent to the Management. g) Conduct ‘Toolbox’ meetings & monthly meeting with the Operations staff in coordination with the Operations Head. h) Also will monitor the ‘Rewards & Recognition’ program for the Drivers and Team Leaders, where the results are discussed in the monthly meetings. i) Verify the transporters invoice & forward the same to Logistics Administrator for PR process. j) Should ensure that all data processing is done via Oracle with zero tolerance in error ratio.
