Steward Supervisor – Artisan District Food Factory
Responsibilities
- Oversee and lead a team of stewards in daily operations
- Train and mentor new stewards on proper procedures and protocols
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of all dining areas
- Manage inventory and ordering of cleaning supplies
- Monitor and enforce health and safety regulations
- Schedule shifts and assign tasks to stewards
- Collaborate with kitchen staff and servers to ensure smooth service
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to stewards
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field
- Certification in Food Safety and Sanitation
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role
- Preferably of local nationality for cultural understanding
- Fluency in English and any other relevant languages
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Physical stamina to stand and walk for long periods
- Ability to remain calm under pressure
