Sr. Electrical Engineer – Design Mechanical Building Services
Job Description
Senior electrical engineers design, develop, upgrade, test, and monitor electrical components and machinery. They supervise other engineers, generate detailed drawings, compile reports, and mentor new apprentices. They also conduct research and participate in ongoing learning.
Responsibilities
- Design electrical systems for mechanical building services, including lighting, power distribution, and HVAC controls.
- Develop detailed electrical designs and specifications, ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to create integrated building designs.
- Assist in the preparation of project proposals, including cost estimates and timelines.
- Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders to understand project requirements and provide updates on progress.
