Speech Therapist – Dr Safeenas Women Wellness World

Responsibilities
● Patient Assessment: Conduct thorough evaluations to diagnose speech, language, and swallowing disorders. ● Treatment Planning: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs. ● Therapy Intervention: Provide evidence-based therapy interventions to improve communication and swallowing abilities. ● Patient Education: Educate patients and families on therapy techniques and strategies for at-home practice. ● Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to ensure integrated care for patients. ● Pediatric Speech and Language: Address speech and language disorders in children. ● Adult Speech and Language: Treat speech and language issues in adults. ● Neurogenic Communication Disorders: Manage communication disorders resulting from neurological conditions. ● Voice Disorders: Diagnose and treat voice-related issues. ● Swallowing Disorders (Dysphagia): Evaluate and treat swallowing difficulties.

Desired Candidate Profile

● Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology: A mandatory qualification. ● Clinical Experience: Proven experience in a rehabilitation setting. ● Strong Interpersonal Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members. ● Preference will be given to candidates with a DHA license. ● Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC): Provide assistive communication devices and training to patients. ● Cognitive-Communication Rehabilitation: Address cognitive impairments affecting communication abilities. ● Voice Therapy: Implement strategies to improve voice quality and projection. ● Swallowing Assessments and Management: Conduct swallowing evaluations and develop appropriate treatment plans. ● Oral Motor Therapy: Treat oral motor difficulties in both children and adults.
