Job Description

A Store Manager, or Shop Manager, is responsible for the overall daily operations of the shop, ensuring efficiency and profitability. Their primary duties include hiring, firing and management of staff. Other main responsibilities are facilitating customer service and meeting sales and financial goals.

Responsibilities
  • Making sure his/her team are approaching company products & attracting new customers.
  • Responsible to achieve shop targets on monthly basis.
  • Set group plan to achieve shops target and highlight slow moving products and make plan to sell these with the coordination of ASM/SM.
  • Ensure to implement FIFO at shops. 
  • Train new joining staff by delivering knowledge of customer service, products knowledge, software systems, cash & stock handling and other operation of sales.
  • Ensure to maintain customer services and facilities, greet customers and provide assistance, maintain cleanliness and order at shop 
  • Ensure to maintain stock, supplies and inventories, take inventory, communicate demand to ASM / SM, check received stock against invoices, mark prices on stock and restock shelves
  • Ensure to maintain accounts, record attendance, maintain staff shift roster, receive cash and provide correct change, operate the cash register, make deposits, print and record receipts
  • To ensure company policies, operational procedures and manuals are fully implemented.
