Job Description

The Senior Technical Supervisor is responsible for providing, guidance, support, and assessment for the facility management technical activities including hard and soft FM services.

Responsibilities

1. Operational:

  • Manage and supervise the operation activities of the technical service providers including Preventive and Corrective maintenance
  • Supervise major FM activities and repair projects.
  • Provide technical assessment and support to the interdisciplinary functions including Admin, Projects, Operations, Sustainability, IT, HSSE, as well as Retail management
  • Coordinate and communicate with mall management and stakeholders to ensure compliance and smooth relationship for conducting our services efficiently and safely.
  • Conduct frequent visits to our facilities (Retail Stores, Offices and Warehouses) to ensure through presence the best quality of service is provided.
  • Review Routine and scheduled checklists and ensure activities are completed within set SLAs.
  • Prepare Condition reports for our retail stores to identify noncompliance or areas of improvement
  • Review and analyse Maintenance reports and Asset life cycle reports and dashboards 
  • Ensure data is captured in relation to every FM activity carried by our service providers. 
  • Ensure Drawings and O&M manuals are received and documented for easy and timely reference. 
  • Assist Projects and brands in opening/closing stores through checking HVAC, MEP and Fire fighting systems. • Coordinate and liaise with HSSE department to ensure Safety and Security standards and guidelines are respected, and recommend improvements or enhancements. 
  • Coordinate and liaise with Sustainability division to provide insights, data and support on waste management, Energy Consumption and Water consumption, Air quality to foster more sustainable facilities for our group. 
  • Continuously look for areas of improvement and betterment initiatives to enhance the overall condition and processes for our facilities.
  • Coordinate with and support the FM Coordinator on defining technical specs and scope of work for material, spare parts, equipment, or services to be ordered. 
  • Challenge and negotiate service providers and contractors on technical proposals to ensure cost efficient solutions.

2. People Management •

  • Build strong relations and trust with stakeholders including Mall management, Retail Managers, Retail Operations and Admin. 
  • Build strong relationship with our Service providers, Suppliers and Contractors to ensure efficiency reliability transparency and ethical quality performance.
