Job Description

To plan the activities involved with physicians and to bring adaptable, agile, cost-effective technology solutions to improve the health care system overall. Lead the analysis, management and performance of health information data to aid patient care.

Responsibilities
  •  Acts as liaison between information technology nursing and clinical departments to prioritize the organizations medical information needs.
  • Gather pertinent healthcare data, develop effective information systems and procedures, and supply healthcare providers with access to shared information.
  • Collaborate with the RCM Manager to ensure proper healthcare documentation and data availability for the RCM function on reimbursement 
  • Systematically evaluates current workflow and formulating outcomes for groups of patients and/or organizational processes within an area of expertise
  • Analyze system design, develops system specifications and participates in the building, implementation, and testing of the new systems and installation of new upgrades. 
  • Lead, facilitate and participate in clinical and informatics related decision-making groups and committees. 
  • Training healthcare staff on health information system deployment and management 
  • Recommend an optimum organization structure for the healthcare in coordination with Chief Medical Information Officer and the Human Resources, to ensure efficient and effective workflow of operational processes and optimal utilization of resources.
  • Collaborate with Human Resources in the development of the healthcare’s manpower plan to ensure timely and best-of-class delivery of tasks.
  • Keeping abreast of advancements in the field of health informatics.
