Job Description
- Acts as liaison between information technology nursing and clinical departments to prioritize the organizations medical information needs.
- Gather pertinent healthcare data, develop effective information systems and procedures, and supply healthcare providers with access to shared information.
- Collaborate with the RCM Manager to ensure proper healthcare documentation and data availability for the RCM function on reimbursement
- Systematically evaluates current workflow and formulating outcomes for groups of patients and/or organizational processes within an area of expertise
- Analyze system design, develops system specifications and participates in the building, implementation, and testing of the new systems and installation of new upgrades.
- Lead, facilitate and participate in clinical and informatics related decision-making groups and committees.
- Training healthcare staff on health information system deployment and management
- Recommend an optimum organization structure for the healthcare in coordination with Chief Medical Information Officer and the
- Human Resources, to ensure efficient and effective workflow of operational processes and optimal utilization of resources.
- Collaborate with Human Resources in the development of the healthcare’s manpower plan to ensure timely and best-of-class delivery of tasks.
- Keeping abreast of advancements in the field of health informatics
- Contribute to the short and long-term strategy for the healthcare, translate it into business plans with objectives and performance indicators and report on the progress of activities against those plans to measure success to support the achievement of
- Build and lead a motivated, engaged and competent manpower throughout the healthcare, by setting priorities and objectives, managing performance, and providing ongoing feedback and coaching to improve performance.
- Responsible to work with the CMIO and for managing the hospital systems that form the tools and management of medical information.
- Monitors latest software & technologies to keep process up to date and efficient
- Contribute to other enterprise project activities specifically as it relates to the incorporation of the Electronic Health Record and related technologies and best practices.
- Developing health information systems that support the collection, sharing, standardization, and integration of healthcare data.
- Prepare and recommend the healthcare’s budget in alignment to the respective annual business plan and ensure proper cascading into department’s budgets.
- Manage the development, implementation of and compliance to healthcare policies, systems, processes, and procedures, identifying potential areas of improvement, to ensure an efficient and effective operation.
- Direct the compliance to all relevant HSE&E and QM policies, procedures and controls across the healthcare to guarantee employee safety, legislative compliance, delivery of high-quality service standards and a responsible environmental attitude.
