Senior Quality Engineer
Job Description
Wood is currently recruiting for Senior Quality Engineer for our projects in Doha, Qatar
Responsibilities
- • The Senior Quality engineer is supporting the Quality Lead for the development of the Quality Program and responsible for the independent surveillance and audit of the project for compliance with procedures and requirements, as well as the documentation of compliance and corrective actions.
- The Senior Quality Engineer works closely with Quality Lead and advises him of the status of quality-related activities.
- The Senior Quality Engineer assists the Quality Lead in the maintenance and updating of the CONTRACT or Project Quality Plan and other quality related project documents.
- As directed by the Quality Lead, the Senior Quality Engineer will perform other quality related audits and surveys.
- Responsible for Quality Management System compliance and system improvement activities
- Support Quality lead to achieve Goal Zero No Defect Objective and participate in HSE and Quality activities as defined in the CONTRACT HSE and Quality Plan.
- Responsible for Contract and Project quality plan implementation
- Accountable for the overall implementation of MRF process for projects, where applicable.
- Establishing, implementing, and maintaining the quality management system.
- Responsible for continual improvement activities to enhance the quality system such as fishbone, Root cause analysis, Five Why, also good tools
- Development of project specific Project Quality Plans for the new projects in the QPH Support Quality lead for Interface with Engineering and Procurement team to ensure specific quality requirements are incorporated in all relevant documents, approved, and transferred to manufacturers and implementation contractor.
- Support the Quality Inspectors to ensure that products and processes comply with the relevant requirements of the quality management system.
