Job Description
lead and manage the entire EBS implementation project, ensuring it is delivered on time, within budget, and meets all project goals.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive project plan, including scope, schedule, budget, and resource allocation.
- Work closely with stakeholders across the organization to gather and define business requirements.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications for the EBS implementation.
- Manage and mentor a team of project team members, including developers, analysts, and testers.
- Oversee all project activities, including system configuration, data migration, testing, and user training.
- Identify, manage, and mitigate project risks and issues.
- Proactively communicate project progress and status updates to stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with all project documentation and reporting requirements.
- (Optional) Leverage experience with custom software technologies on cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) to optimize cloud based EBS implementations.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelors degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 12-15 years of experience in project management within the IT industry.
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex IT projects, preferably those involving Oracle E-Business Suite.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
- In-depth knowledge of Oracle EBS suite version 12.2.x including core modules and functionality.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure) a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.
- Candidate should be willing to travel to Africa
