Senior Project Engineer – Civil

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Assist Head of Projects department, individually handling the projects

Proven experience in Building construction, high end villas, majlis, and medium size infra structure works

Team player, coordination follow-up with consultant and Contractors.

Follow up to the program of works, delays in projects duly shall notify the project Consultant

Interacting daily with the clients to interpret their needs and requirements and representing them in the field

Knowledge and experience to Perform overall quality control of the work (and report regularly on project status)

sound knowledge of design and visualization software such as AutoCAD

Advanced MS Office skills. Different kinds of Reports preparations.

Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices in building construction

Familiar with building construction methods, sequence, materials,

Experience in structure works (RCC and Steel structure) – reading drawings and installation / execution works

Familiar with different types of finishing works (materials, methods, installation etc. ) for flooring, wall finishes , ceiling works, waterproofing works, block work, plaster, stone cladding etc.

Knowledge and experience of site works in concrete and water proofing works

Repairing and renovation works in high end villas / palace type buildings

Coordination with the electromechanical works at different stages of works (knowledge of coordination drawings, builder’s works drawings …etc.)

Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions

Progress payment certification, advance payment issuance follow up, review of variation , commercials

Scope of works, specification preparation as per standard construction practice by using best branded construction materials.

Project handing over closeout documents review and recording
