Senior Project/Design Manager
Job Description
We seek a Senior Project/Design Manager with a proven track record in luxury residential design. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience delivering high-end residential projects from concept to completion.
The project location is Qatar and will take roughly 2 years to complete.
Our client has been appointed as Client representatives for an ultra-high-end residential villa development in Qatar, the Consultant team and the Contractor are based in Qatar, and the Architects and Designers are based in Europe. Our client is looking for a project manager/design manager to act as the fulcrum for the project on the ground responsible for:
Responsibilities
- Prepare and report on progress against the design programme
- Attend all project meetings and keep accurate records of meetings ensuring that all stakeholder decisions can be facilitated clearly
- Review output from all consultants and ensure deliverables are met and report
- Prepare weekly progress reports
- Ensure that our client's interests in the projects are preserved and expanded
- We intend to procure the fitout internationally due to a lack of quality suppliers in Qatar, the PM will work closely with our client commercial team during the tender stage and subsequent appointment of the specialist contractors
- Coordination of specialist contractors with main contractor works
- Overseeing the works carried out by the main contractor and subcontractors on the ground from inception through to completion
Qualifications
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in luxury residential design, with a portfolio showcasing completed projects.
- Demonstrated ability to manage high-end residential projects from inception to handover.
- Proficiency in design software, including SketchUp.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
