Senior Interior Designer – EMIRATI TALENT
Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Interior Designer to join our leading Interior Design subsidiary – The FitOut.
Responsibilities
- Receiving the job handing over from the project dept. & maintaining the log register with documents provided
- Studying the project with the BOQ, specification & ID drawings
- Initial site visit when required (general)
- Visiting the site to take the actual information & details if the job based on the mock-up or sample (must)
- Preparation of shop drawings in line with our scope of work
- Requesting the site measurements from the project engineer/ Project manager to ensure the base drawing is correct if not the layout will be revised accordingly.
- Monitoring the variation & cost implication works, also with the feedback of the setter our & mentioning the same on the drawing or intimation to the PE.
- Discussing & explaining the details to the setter out's to prepare the shop drawing
- Improvising the quality of shop drawings for the team
- Improvising the productivity of the team.
- Proposing different details, if any technical issues arose by the clients.
- Started compulsory final checking before the drawing issued for approval to increase the accuracy level of the shop drawings.
- Shop drawing submission for the approvals
- Monitoring the progress to ensure timely submission with quality assurance.
- Monitoring the updating of the shop drawing & control register schedule
- Updating of the shop drawing & control register schedule for the assign project
- Issuing the approved shop drawings to production & site for the assign project
- Hand sketches for the builder's work / approved variation works along with job request to registered as well as attested with the setting out seal & drawing to issue to production
- Attending the site meeting for the technical issues at site
- Providing the tender / construction id drawing soft copy to the project engineer / purchase dept. in
- CD format or through mail for the sub-contractor / supplier finalization (for the assigned project)
- Request as built information to project engineer in order to prepare the as built drawing.
- Based on the site as built information the drawing will be prepared & send it to site for the final checking
- As built will be submitted for the project close out.

Experience/qualifications:
- 8 years experience
- Bachelors in Architect/Design
- AutoCAD, 3D Max
- UAE National ONLY
- Seniority Level Mid-Senior level
