Responsibilities
- · Guiding the Regional Food Safety Team to run the Food Safety Management System for the region.
- · Responsibility for ISO 22000:2018 Internal audits.
- · Responsible for the Hygiene &Food Safety Standards in the shops/warehouse and ensuring the same through daily/weekly visits.
- · Responsible for Food Safety Training plans and coordinating with Regional and Shop level Food Safety Team for improving training standards.
- · Developing, planning, and coordinating the Food Testing requirements of the shops as per the legal and Food Safety Management System standards.
- · Overlooking into the pest control standards and coordinating with shop management.
- · Coordinating the shop Audits and communicating the reports to the department manager.
- · Conducting Product Mock Recalls/Emergency Preparedness and documentation.
- · Coordinating with maintenance/project team for any related activities and follow up.
- · Recording the minutes for all departmental meetings for future reference.
- · Planning and coordinating the calibration activities with the Regional Food Safety head as per the requirements of the Food Safety Management System.
- · Handling, recording &resolving of the Food Safety related customer complaints and communicating to the Regional Food Safety Head.
- · Preparing the monthly consolidated report related to the functioning of the Food Safety Department and communicating it to the Regional Food Safety Head.
- · Plan for the vendor audit programs by coordinating with the Central Buying Team.
- · Assist the Regional Food Safety Head for the ISO Regional Team Meets, preparing &communicating the minutes to the Regional Food Safety Team.
- · Take leading activities in any absence of Regional Food Safety Head as per the instruction.
