Job Description

The Senior F&B Recruitment Officer will be responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process for Food & Beverage positions within our organization. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and experience in both kitchen and front-of-house operations, with a particular focus on Italian cuisine, pastry, specialty coffee, and mocktails. This role requires a deep understanding of HACCP food safety standards and F&B preparation techniques. The candidate must be adept at conducting detailed interviews and asking relevant, job-specific questions to identify top talent. Additionally, experience in employee performance evaluation and SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) creation will be considered an advantage.

Responsibilities
  • Manage the full recruitment cycle for F&B roles, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and selecting candidates.
  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent in the F&B industry.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand specific job requirements and candidate profiles.
  • Conduct in-depth interviews with candidates to assess their skills, experience, and fit for the role.
  • Ask relevant questions related to HACCP food safety standards, F&B preparation (including Italian cuisine, pastry, specialty coffee, and mocktails), and kitchen/front-of-house operations.
  • Evaluate candidates' technical knowledge and practical skills to ensure they meet the required standards.
  • Leverage extensive knowledge of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety protocols.
  • Assess candidates' experience in front-of-house operations, including customer service, table setting, and beverage preparation.
  • Utilize experience in employee performance evaluation to identify candidates with a track record of excellence.
  • Collaborate with management to develop and refine performance evaluation criteria for F&B roles.
  • Assist in the creation and implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for F&B operations.
  • Ensure that all recruitment processes align with established SOPs and best practices.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all recruitment activities.
  • Provide regular reports on recruitment progress and challenges to senior management.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including hiring managers and department heads.
  • Act as a trusted advisor on recruitment matters, offering insights and recommendations to improve the recruitment process.
