The successful candidate will play a key role in conducting advanced energy modeling and analysis for various building projects, ensuring optimal energy performance and sustainability.
Responsibilities
- Perform detailed energy modeling and simulations using IES software for new and existing building projects.
- Analyze building energy performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and recommend energy-efficient design strategies.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate energy modeling results into project designs.
- Prepare comprehensive energy reports, documentation, and presentations for clients and project teams.
- Stay current with industry trends, standards, and regulations related to energy modeling and sustainable building practices.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior energy modellers and support their professional development.
- Participate in project meetings, client consultations, and design reviews to present energy modeling findings and recommendations.
- Assist in the development and implementation of company-wide energy modeling best practices and protocols.
