Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements and reports
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles and standards
- Perform month-end and year-end close processes
- Oversee and manage financial audits
- Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures
- Assist in budget preparation and forecasting
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Stay up-to-date with accounting regulations and industry trends
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience
- Experience in a senior accounting or supervisory role
- Experience in the relevant industry
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office
- Minimum 5 years GCC experience within Construction or Contracting company.
