Preferred Qualifications /Educational Background
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering with specialization in fluid power. Additional Electrical/Electronic qualifications will be an added advantage.
Additional Preferences
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- The knowledge and working experience with most known brands of hydraulics products (Parker, Bosch Rexroth, Hagglunds, Eaton, Kawasaki, Staffa, Sauer Danfoss, Linde, Hawe, Oil gear, etc.)
- Ability to read and interpret manuals and hydraulic schematics.
- Knowledge of International Hydraulic Standards.
- Knowledge of open loop and closed loop hydrostatic transmissions on mobile, offshore, and marine hydraulic systems.
- Knowledge of pressure testing and flushing of hydraulic systems.
- Experience in developing and presenting solution designs as part of pre-sales activities.
- Extensive customer liaison exposure.
- Proficient in the use of MS Office

- Managing and interpreting customer requirements - speaking with clients to understand, anticipate and meet their needs.
- Generating technical sales proposals and contracts (Statement of Work, Services Proposals).
- Researching options and requesting quotes for outsourced components of projects.
- Working with the engineering team to ensure development schedules and deliveries are being met
- Commitment to continuous improvement in Quality, Health, Safety and Environment (QHSE)
Roles & Responsibility:
- Identify and develop profitable opportunities for the Hydraulics Projects Division organization within the Middle East market.
- Demonstrate a strong technical knowledge and understanding of Projects’ services.
- Assist in the development of the Hydraulic Project business development strategy for Middle East and other parts of the globe.
- Develop new clients and ensure pre-qualification status is achieved and maintained with customers in the market.
- Develop close working relationships with existing and potential customers.
- Maintain sales plan as a proactive working document.
- Ensure all sales actions are carried out and completed.
- Meet or exceed sales targets set forth by the company.
- Assist with Hydraulic division sales forecasting.
- Actively promote completion of customer feedback reports
- Issue a monthly report with overview of previous and forthcoming month sales activity.
- Ensuring all Sales & BD activity adheres to company systems, processes, and procedures.
