Job Description
As a Safety Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring a safe working environment on all landscape project sites. You will develop and implement safety policies, conduct regular inspections, and provide training to project teams.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures for landscape projects.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify and mitigate safety hazards.
- Provide safety training to project teams and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Investigate and report on any accidents or incidents on site.
- Maintain accurate records of safety inspections and training sessions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Certification in safety management (e.g., OSHA, NEBOSH).
- Proven experience as a Safety Officer in the construction or landscape industry.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
- Excellent communication and training skills.
