ROV Supervisor (Seaeye Cougar System) – Capefront
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
Supervise ROV Operations:
• Manage day-to-day operations of Seaeye Cougar ROV system for subsea tasks.
• Ensure operational safety and efficiency during missions.
• Oversee ROV launch and recovery operations.
• Provide guidance to ROV technicians and crew.
Team Leadership:
• Lead, train, and mentor ROV team members.
• Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders on-site.
• Ensure team compliance with safety and operational procedures.
Reporting & Documentation:
• Ensure all mission data and logs are accurately recorded.
• Prepare detailed daily reports on operational performance.
• Maintain communication with shore-based teams and provide updates.
Equipment Management:
• Ensure proper maintenance and troubleshooting of the Seaeye Cougar system.
• Monitor ROV systems and equipment during missions to ensure functionality.
Requirements:
Experience:
• Proven experience operating the Seaeye Cougar system.
• At least X years of experience in ROV operations and supervision.
Technical Skills:
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• In-depth knowledge of ROV systems, controls, and equipment.
Certifications & Training:
• Valid ROV Supervisor certification.
• Familiarity with offshore operational standards and safety procedures.
Safety Compliance:
• Full understanding of subsea safety protocols and emergency procedures.
