Repair Technician – Marine
Job Description
The Repair Technician is responsible in ensuring up to date with technical aspects of the product and to be able to fix right a problem the first time.
Responsibilities
- Independently working with minimum direction Knowledge sharing with other peers and guidance of team members to excellence
- Carryout works like service, troubleshooting, repair, replacement of mechanical & electric components
- Extend the technical knowledge and skill to cover new products and other systems and functions
- Attending jobs in the workshop and the field proactively to identify potential problem causes and solve the problem Use tools and adopt best practices as mentioned in service manuals, SOW, and Wiring diagrams to avoid rework
- Accomplishes tasks with full attention to details, standards, and specifications.
- Adheres to standard operating procedure Use service checklist, read, understand, and implement instructions in workshop manuals, SOW, and Wiring diagrams
- Ensure work is completed and output is met as instructed
