Job Description
Maintenance Supervisors are responsible for ensuring that all building systems, equipment, and facilities in their charge operate at peak efficiency. They resolve issues that arise in order to keep both building maintenance activities running smoothly or take care of any repairs needed on-site if there’s an emergency.
Responsibilities
- To plan, control and organize repair maintenance department.
- To prepare duty schedule of repair maintenance team.
- To receive and manage all repair maintenance tasks (from office, factory, shops, real estate buildings and other locations designated by senior management).
- To get permission from mall management to carry out R/M tasks of the shops.
- To prioritize the tasks and deploy the workforce to complete the jobs in a timely & effective manner.
- To maintain proper documentation of the repair maintenance request forms and task completion details.
- Follow up with R/M team to keep track record of ongoing tasks/projects.
- To maintain daily work report and time sheet for R/M team.
- To prepare reports for costing of all R/M activities and or projects assigned (including time span, workforce and material consumption etc.).
- To maintain documents/records as per QMS & GMP standards.
- To prepare preventive maintenance schedule and building inspection plans to ensure safety/security of the buildings and to meet QMS & GMP requirements.
- To maintain inventory and to keep a proper track record of purchase, insurance and consumption of the inventory.
- To propose the ideas and plans to minimize the expenses and to effectively utilize the departmental budget and resources.
- To coordinate with Manager Repair & Maintenance to carry out domestic R/M tasks of directors.
- To complete the tasks/ activities assigned by senior management as and when required (personal and official).
Skills
- Sufficient knowledge of operating principles, safety requirements, and technical specifications.
- understanding of the technical aspects of property maintenance and repair, such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, landscaping, and more.
- Dealing with incoming work requests
- Solving mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on various production and facility equipment
