Refrigeration/ Chiller Technician
Job Description
The Chiller/Refrigeration Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of chiller and refrigeration systems.
Responsibilities
- Ensure proper setup and functionality of installed systems by performing tests and adjustments.
- Conduct routine maintenance on chiller and refrigeration systems, including cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting components.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with chiller and refrigeration units to determine the root cause of malfunctions.
- Repair or replace defective parts and components promptly and efficiently.
- Ensure all repairs and maintenance tasks are performed according to industry standards and safety regulations.
- Perform regular inspections of chiller and refrigeration systems to identify potential problems before they escalate.
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to test the performance and efficiency of units.
- Document inspection results and recommend corrective actions if needed.
- Follow safety protocols to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance, repairs, and installations performed.
- Prepare detailed reports on the condition of systems and the work completed.
- Update maintenance logs and service records as required.
