Quality Manager – DAWOOD
Responsibilities
- Devise and review specifications for products or processes .
- Set requirements for raw material or intermediate products for suppliers and monitor their compliance.
- Supervise inspectors, technicians and other staff.
- Oversee all product development procedures to identify deviations from quality standards.
- Inspect final output and compare properties to requirements .
- Submit detailed reports to appropriate executives .
- Implementing methods to inspect, test and evaluate products and production equipment .
- Training and managing production line staff in production practices and quality assessment of goods .
- Conduct regular audits and inspections for our production facilities, and evaluate their quality, hygiene, and food safety performance and compliance.
- Prepare and submit audit and inspection reports and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
- Identify and investigate quality and food safety incidents, complaints, and non-conformities, and recommend appropriate solutions and improvements.
- Resolve and respond to any quality or safety issue identified by customers or internal operations team .
- Plan and lead all the certifications/recertification audits.
Skills Minimum Educational Requirement:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Food Technology or related fields.
Requirements:
- +8 years of experience in quality assurance and food safety management, preferably in the food and beverage or retail industry.
- Certified in HACCP, ISO 22000, or other relevant quality and food safety standards.
- Strong knowledge of quality assurance and food safety principles, practices, and regulations.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
