Quality Manager – DAWOOD

Responsibilities
  • Devise and review specifications for products or processes .
  • Set requirements for raw material or intermediate products for suppliers and monitor their compliance.
  • Supervise inspectors, technicians and other staff.
  • Oversee all product development procedures to identify deviations from quality standards.
  • Inspect final output and compare properties to requirements .
  • Submit detailed reports to appropriate executives .
  • Implementing methods to inspect, test and evaluate products and production equipment .
  • Training and managing production line staff in production practices and quality assessment of goods .
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections for our production facilities, and evaluate their quality, hygiene, and food safety performance and compliance.
  • Prepare and submit audit and inspection reports and follow up on corrective and preventive actions.
  • Identify and investigate quality and food safety incidents, complaints, and non-conformities, and recommend appropriate solutions and improvements.
  • Resolve and respond to any quality or safety issue identified by customers or internal operations team .
  • Plan and lead all the certifications/recertification audits.

Skills Minimum Educational Requirement:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Food Science, Food Technology or related fields.

Requirements:

  • +8 years of experience in quality assurance and food safety management, preferably in the food and beverage or retail industry.
  • Certified in HACCP, ISO 22000, or other relevant quality and food safety standards.
  • Strong knowledge of quality assurance and food safety principles, practices, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
