QAQC Engineer
Job Description
- Develop, implement, and maintain QAQC procedures and processes to ensure compliance with project specifications, QCS, and Qatar Energy Quality Standards.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits of construction activities, focusing on roads and metal roof structures, to ensure adherence to quality standards and project requirements.
- Review and approve construction drawings, specifications, and project documentation, ensuring alignment with QAQC protocols.
- Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and other stakeholders to resolve quality-related issues and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive QAQC documentation, including inspection reports, non-conformance reports, and corrective action plans.
- Provide training and guidance to project staff and contractors on QAQC standards and best practices.
- Participate in project meetings and provide technical expertise on quality-related matters.
- Ensure that all materials and equipment used in construction meet required quality standards and specifications
- Bachelor of Engineering (Civil).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Quantity Surveying (QS).
- Minimum of 5-8 years of experience working as a QAQC Engineer in oil and gas projects.
- Proven experience with QCS (Qatar Construction Specifications) and QatarEnergy Quality Standards.
- Extensive experience in road construction and metal roof structures
- Strong knowledge of QAQC principles and practices in civil engineering.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficient in the use of QAQC management software and tools.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Primarily site-based, with regular visits to construction areas.
- Must be willing to work in varying site conditions and travel within the region as required.
