QA QC Engineer – Confidential Company

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
  • Preparation of Materials submittals and Method statements, ensuring that all necessary documentation and information related to construction materials are collected, reviewed, compiled, and submitted to the appropriate parties for approval. This process ensures that materials meet specified requirements and standards before being used in the project, ultimately contributing to quality and compliance.
  • Collaborate with project managers, designers, engineers, technicians and subcontractors to establish quality control criteria and resolve quality-related issues.
  • Oversee the entire quality control process, including planning, implementation, monitoring, and reporting.
  • Conduct thorough inspections and audits of materials, products, and processes to identify defects, non- conformities, and areas for improvement.
  • Lead and mentor a team of QA/QC inspectors and technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
  • Monitor project timelines and budgets to ensure quality control activities are completed within specified deadlines and resources.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of quality control activities, including inspection reports, test results, and corrective actions taken.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, and regulatory agencies regarding quality control requirements, compliance issues, and project updates.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes related to quality assurance and quality control in the adventure, theming, and play construction industry.
Desired Candidate Profile
  • Bachelor's degree Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Professional certification in quality management (e.g., Certified Quality Engineer, Six Sigma Green Belt) is preferred.
  • Extensive experience with Minimum of 5-8 years in quality assurance and quality control, preferably in the adventure, theming, and play construction industry.
  • Knowledge of soft play, ropes courses, and zip line maintenance.
  • Strong technical expertise in construction materials, methods, and safety regulations.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and protocols.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to interpret design plans and specifications.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to assess and address technical issues promptly.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
