Job Description
As a proposal engineer, you gather supporting documentation to make the proposal more competitive. You determine costs and timelines, and may outline a variety of factors that may increase or decrease them. Projects may range from large building construction to software development.
Responsibilities
• Knowledge of complete understanding of Electrical Networks in Power Distribution particularly in MV 11kV to 33kV networks. • Have in-depth knowledge of Air Insulated and Gas Insulated Switchgear (Up to 33kV). • Reviews customer specifications and prepare compliance in cooperation with all stakeholders on both Sales and Customer side. • Handling / preparation of NX-Tools+ and OGT. • Ensure strong proposal and contract management on the project. Evaluating impacts of changed requirements/ delivery items regarding costs, project plan etc. • Carry out risks assessment of project influencing factors and manage the identified risks. • Follow defined business processes that meet business needs across the organization. • Self-driven individual with clear goal in achieving aggressive growth targets. • Build and enhance the relationships with respective factories. • Establish close collaboration with stake holders like Sales, Business Administration, Execution teams within the Business Unit which enables improvement throughout the sales support. • Demonstration of commercial and technical expertise in specific market. • Drive core sales strategy and growth initiatives within the region. • Shall have good understanding of Middle East Market • Shall be Team player and should have a clear understanding of working in multi-cultural environment.
