Job Description

This includes setting and managing client expectations, developing a detailed project plan, defining the scope of the project, understanding project risks and assigning team members to specific tasks.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in Preparation of Tender Programmes as per the Tender documents requirement.
  • Coordinate with Sr. planner/ Planner for preparation of detailed programmes as per contract requirements.
  • Propose the Productivity sheet for the Project.
  • Coordinate with the Sr. planner for calculating the manpower requirements (trade wise) as per the defined productivity.
  • Preparation of a weight system.
  • Coordinate with the Sr. planner/ Planner for loading the manpower, major quantities, Weightage and cost over the activities of the Programme of work (as required).
  • Estimating the projects cash flow
  • Preparation of the project's measurement tools like S-curve, Tabular reports, histograms, and other KPI’s.
  • Highlight the Critical path(s) and take the necessary actions with coordination of other Project key staff.
  • Insure that QHSE requirements are integrated to the Programmes.
  • Coordinate with the Sr. planner/ Planner for preparation of Internal Programme of Works (if required).
  • Coordinate with the Sr. planner/ Planner Assistant for issuing the subcontractor’s programmes with coordination of Procurement engineers.
  • Coordinate with the Sr. planner/ Planner/Planner Assistant for preparing the weekly/monthly reports.
  • Coordinate with the Sr. planner/ Planner/Planner Assistant for preparing the internal Planning reports.
  • Highlighting the Critical/ Longest Path to Planning Manager on Weekly Basis before issuance of the Weekly/ Monthly report.
  • Highlighting the Area of Concerns to Planning Manager on Weekly Basis before issuance of the Weekly/ Monthly report.
  • Coordinate with the Sr. planner/ Planner for forecasting the future problems and inform the Planning Manager to take the necessary actions.
  • Monitor the manpower & equipment and make sure that they are correct as per Project/ Site conditions.
  • Coordinate with the Sr. planner for updating the Projects cash flow.
  • Coordinate with the Sr. planner/ Planner for preparation of Planning related correspondences to Client/ Engineer/ Sub-consultant/ Subcontractors/ and other parties.
  • Attending the required meetings.
  • Attending the required Audits.
  • Preparation of Notices for EoT.
