Job Description

Train and evaluate the performance of assigned staff. Plan and schedule carpentry related work (as defined) in efficient sequence. Estimate accurately costs of repairs, construction work, and related labor requirements. Maintain records.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage all aspects of fit out and joinery projects from initiation to completion.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring timely delivery of all project milestones.
  • Collaborate with clients, architects, and subcontractors to ensure project specifications and requirements are met.
  • Monitor project budgets and expenses, making necessary adjustments to ensure profitability.
  • Coordinate and communicate with internal teams to ensure all project tasks are completed accurately and on time.
  • Prepare and present project progress reports to stakeholders, highlighting key achievements and challenges.
  • Manage and resolve any project issues or conflicts that may arise.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations and standards.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor project progress and quality of work.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to project team members, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in project management for fit out and joinery projects.
  • Relevant industry certifications such as PMP or PRINCE
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods and materials used in fit out and joinery.
  • Experience working with international clients and subcontractors.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven leadership abilities and ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • Physical ability to conduct site visits and inspections as required.
