Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Civil Project Manager to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As a Civil Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of civil construction projects, from planning and design to execution and completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering and project management, with a minimum of 15 years of experience in the field.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement project plans for road construction projects, including defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
- Coordinate with project stakeholders, including architects, engineers, contractors, and government agencies, to ensure smooth project execution.
- Manage project budgets, including cost estimation, monitoring expenses, and making adjustments as necessary.
- Oversee the planning and scheduling of road construction activities, ensuring timely completion of projects.
- Monitor and evaluate project progress, conduct regular site visits, and address any issues or challenges that arise during construction.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulations, and building codes throughout the construction process.
- Manage project documentation, including contracts, permits, and change orders.
- Collaborate with the procurement team to source and select contractors and subcontractors for road construction projects.
- Communicate regularly with clients, keeping them informed of project status and addressing any concerns or questions.
- Ensure the successful delivery of road construction projects within budget, on schedule, and to the required quality standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in infrastructure, with a focus on road construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to plan, organize, and prioritize work effectively.
- In-depth knowledge of road construction methods, materials, and techniques.
- Ability to analyze and solve complex problems, and make sound decisions.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Knowledge of local construction regulations and standards in Saudi Arabia.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
