Project Controls Director – Madinah
CLIENT
Linum Consult’s client is an established engineering services and consulting company currently seeking a bilingual Arabic- and English-speaking Project Controls Director to join their team in Madinah, Saudi Arabia.
Responsibilities
• Managing project costs and required resources, including the planning and management of human and material resources, equipment, and labour, and estimating expected costs with cost engineers whilst monitoring expenditures
• Developing and implementing a communication plan with all project stakeholders, ensuring a basis for distributing information and publishing project status updates
• Preparing and presenting specialised documentation and reports on construction and engineering works and projects, and saving them in the database accordingly
• Developing work methods and procedures, keeping up with technical advancements
• Ensuring full familiarity with the outputs of various project phases
• Working with the relevant department stakeholders to ensure the application of the approved stage gate model, according to the project management guide
• Developing and implementing an integrated project plan, managing changes, and accurately defining project scope in terms of items and timelines, identifying the technical aspects necessary for work execution
• Estimating project times and deadlines, preparing schedules using relevant software and applications
Requirements:
• Degree qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction, Architectural Engineering, or similar subject, with certifications in PMP and CAPM from the PMI
• Between 10-15 years of experience in project controls management for large public and infrastructure projects within a PMO environment
• Certified in PRINCE2 from Axelos, ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems from ISO, Six Sigma Black Belt, Construction Project Management, Portfolio Management Professional, Cost Professional (CCP) from AACE, and/or Planning and Scheduling Professional (PSP)
• Strong managerial skills, with the ability to plan, budget, allocate resources, and project manage within the public sector
• Excellent spoken and written English and Arabic, with good communication skills.
Salary:
SAR 48,000 to 50,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
