- Proficiency in engineering principles and technical specifications to understand project requirements and effectively communicate with suppliers.
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate supplier proposals, assess technical compliance, and identify cost-effective solutions.
- Knowledge of procurement processes and regulations to ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry standards.
- Excellent negotiation abilities to secure favorable terms, pricing, and delivery schedules with suppliers while maintaining quality standards.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders to meet project objectives and deadlines.
- ERP knowledge preferably SAP functional skills are a requirement to be successful in this role.
