Our client is a leading Telecommunication Company, currently looking for an experienced Procurement Clerk.
The role is responsible to ensure that procurement outcomes within Technology categories of spend are conducted as per organizations procurement policy and corporate governance in an ethical, transparent, and fair manner, realizing the best value for money for the organization and its shareholders. NW/IT categories

Responsibilities
  • Develop plans for procurement of equipment, services, and supplies for Technology category in coordination with respective stakeholders.
  • End to end Leading of RFPs/RFQs/Tenders as per plans. • Leading evaluation of bids responses, negotiation and finalizing the contract within sourcing policy/guidelines and in a structured, fair and transparent manner 
  • Creates purchase orders, ensuring relevant procurement procedures have been applied and all supporting documentation is attached 
  • Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and other important data. 
  • Maintaining and updating supplier information such as qualifications, delivery times, product ranges, etc. 
  • Researching and evaluating prospective suppliers. 
  • Managing weekly/monthly procurement reports. 
  • Identify opportunities and redesign policies, processes, systems / structural programs and procedures for continuous improvement, covering all individual Functional activities.
  • Following and enforcing the company's procurement policies and procedures.
  • Make professional decisions in a fast-paced environment 
  • Facilitate procurement audits as required 
  • Monitor achievement of cost reductions goals in line with the Targets and objectives of the Company productivity goal. 
  • Maintain good & continuous communication channel with all internal & external customers. Qualification & Experience: 
  • Graduate in engineering/Business/Finance. 
  • Professional Procurement Certification is a plus. 
  • Minimum 3-5 years of work experience in Technical Procurement, Telecom experience a plus Required Skills and Competencies:
  • Self-driven, able to take initiative and prioritize among competing demands. 
  • Good analytical and strategic thinking skills.
  • Negotiation & Communication Skills.

  • • A good team player with strong interpersonal skills, and ability to work independently and effectively under pressure and on strict deadlines.
  • Excellent knowledge of Oracle /SAP & other computer applications
